Today we have a classic Japenese amplifer from around 1970. It features an early design, whose circuit directly evolved from older valve amp layouts and substituted with transistors. It has a very smooth and warm sound and although the baby in the range, is still highly sought after. Power output is 20W into 8Ohms, it sports a good MM phono stage, headphone out and isolated pre-power stages connected by means of an external jumper.
If you’re after a classic amp, maybe an alternative to the likes of a Nad 3020, then this should be on your list. Expect to sell for around £250.
